Plasma Tv With dvd




surround sound hook up problem?

hi, i just bought a new 42inch plasma tv with dvd suround sound, i can get the suround sound fine when on dvd mode but when i change to sky i loose it. I have a scart lead from the sky box to the tv and i have the red and yellow leads hooked up to the red and yellow on the tv coming from the dvd player, i am a complete novice so any help would be great.

I use an external 5.1 amp, but look in the TV menu and see if the Scart input is set to "Digital IN". If it is, set it to "Analogue IN" That sorted out my amp. Then set the sound to "Virtual Surround" and everything should be OK.
